The Mooretown
Atom Rep Hockey team travelled to Mt. Clemens
for a Saturday afternoon tilt with the Mt.
Clemens Wolves. It ended up whomever scores last
wins and Mooretown did that coming away with a
9-8 victory in a high scoring affair.
Goals came in
bunches as Mt. Clemens led early 2-0 before the
Storm scored 5 straight only to see the Wolves
score 4 straight. Mooretown scored the next two
goals for a 7-6 lead but the teams traded the
next 4 goals with the Storm scoring late for a
thrilling victory.
Evan Musson
started in net making several good saves and
was relieved by Emma McCormick for the second
half of the game to earn "W" between the pipes.
Jared Pageau
led the scoring attack with 5 goals and 2
assists. Elijah Contreras, Drew Pepper and Rory
Pickle each notched a goal and assist each.
Bailey Smalls also scored. Also adding an assist
was Aaron Dobson.
