Lambton Jr
Sting Minor PeeWees Spent a Long Day
in Waterloo Region
The Jr Sting Minor PeeWee's gained a
split on the road this past Sunday.
After a night of treats the boys
didn't seem to have many offensive
tricks up their sleeves in a two
game day vs Kitchener Jr Rangers and
the Waterloo Wolves.
Game one in Kitchener was a
defensive battle that saw only one
goal scored. The resulting 1-0
victory for the Lambton squad was a
good start to the day. Kaden Fulcher
was solid in net posting the shutout
while the lone goal of the contest
was scored by Franco Sproviero,
assisted by Isaac McLean and Colin
Leyten.
Game two against the Wolves required
a short drive down the road to
Waterloo and lot of waiting around
for the second match to begin. When
things finally got rolling it was
all Wolves with the home team
jumping out to a 3-0 lead after the
first period and then adding a
single marker in each of the final
two periods to take a convincing 5-0
victory over the weary visitors from
Lambton. |
