The Lambton Jr Sting traveled to Monroe Michigan to participate in the Monroe Thanksgiving Classic and came home with the gold medal.

The Minor Bantams went undefeated with 3 wins and 2 ties.  In their first game on Friday the Jr Sting tied Westland Renegades 1 - 1.  On Saturday they went up against the Trenton Thunder and took a 4 - 3 win.  Later in the day they tied the Monore Ice Hawks. On Sunday they met the Hamilton Reps and defeated them in overtime by a score of 2 - 1 and moved on to the Final game where they shut out the Cincinnati Jr. Cyclones 3 - 0.
