Lambton vs Hamilton Reps

This past Sunday, the Minor Atom AAA Sting played host to the Hamilton Reps at the SSEC and came away with a decisive 5-0 victory.

In all aspects of the game, the Sting was the dominant team, whether it be scoring, defending or goaltending.   Dante Fuoco led the team with a hat trick performance, with singles going to Theo Crombeen and Cameron Adam.   Assisting on the goals were Duncan Core, Ben Arthurs, Alec Trusler, Lucas Ross, Josh Vale, Cameron Rombouts, Cameron Adam and Curtis Marks.  The defensemen were much more active in this game offensively as seen on the scoresheet.

Although the scoring threat was limited Jakob Knowles did answer when called upon, making some excellent saves, to earn the well deserved shutout.

The boys are now 2-0 in regular season play and their next opponent is the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs, which although early in the season, is already shaping up to be a good rivalry.
