’95 Lambton Sting AAA Split on
Weekend
November 7 - 8, 2009
The Lambton Jr. Sting Major Bantam
AAA hockey team had a win and a loss
on the weekend.
On Saturday Lambton outpaced Chatham
by a score of 4 – 3. Nick Sproviero
led the attack with 2 goals.
Singles went to Mathew Brandon and
Nick Zottl. Mitch DeRush-Pageau,
Kirk Dorman and Chad Beauchamp
picked up assists. Joel Sowinski
picked up the win in net.
Sunday saw the Sting drop a close
match versus Huron Perth 4 – 2. The
Sting led 2 – 1 entering the third,
but could not solve Huron Perth’s
goalie as they fired 35 shots at
him. Huron Perth scored into an
empty net to seal the deal. Scoring
for the Sting was Ryan Frizzell and
Kirk Dorman. Assist went to Nick
Zottl, Frizzell and Connor McKinnon.
The boys are off until Monday
November 16th when the
take on the London Knights at the
SSEC, 7:30 PM. |
