’95 Lambton Sing open Series with
Shut Out Win
Coming
off a 3 game sweep of the defending
Alliance Champions, the ’95 Lambton
Sting defeated 1st place
Sun County 3 – 0 in the opening game
of their best of 5 Quarter Final
Series, in Essex Friday night.
John Boric was sensational between
the pipes garnering the shut-out.
Jeff Sit’s power play goal from Ben
Morrison opened the scoring for the
Sting in the first period. Nick
Sproviero opened the lead to two,
with a breakaway goal in the second,
from Mitch DeRush-Pageau and Ryan
Frizzell. Kirk Dorman sealed the
deal with an empty net shorthanded
goal with 11 seconds left. Chad
Beauchamp drew the assist.
