Lambton Major Atom Jr. Sting traveled to Brantford to face off against the 99ers in the last game before the New Year.

The game proved to be a tight checking, low scoring affair but not without many good chances for both teams to score. Neither team got onto the score sheet through two periods until Ryan Brown roofed one on the Power Play early in the third on a nice pass from Jack Hackett. The Jr. Sting went looking for the insurance marker but instead it was Brantford who got the next one with just under ten minutes remaining. Both teams pressed for the game winner but neither team could capitalize on their chances and the game ended in a 1-1 tie.

Ryan Brown had one goal. Jack Hackett and Cade Robbins each got one assist. Ethan Hunt played a strong game between the pipes.
