The Sarnia Ladies Jr Sting Midget "C" played 2 games this past weekend which resulted in a win and a loss. This past Saturday the Sarnia girls played host to St Mary's and on the strength of some excellent goaltending by Erin Lange the Ladies Jr Sting team recorded their second win of the season. The game went back and forth but in the end Sarnia held on for a 3 to 2 victory. Scoring for Sarnia was Olivia Pawson, Mary Beth Purdy and Meaghan Pawson with the third goal. Chipping in with the assists were Michelle Long and Jessica Sulkye on the first goal,  Mary Beth Purdy and Jasmine Davies on the last goal.

Playing their second game on Sunday the Ladies Jr Sting Midget 'C" team traveled to Glencoe. This game turned into a very excited match. Based on a great team effort the Sarnia girls came back to tie the game and then capture the lead for a brief time period before Glencoe fought back to win the game 5 to 4. Leading the scoring was team captain Jasmine Davies providing 2 goals and an assist. Cassie Fowlie added to the scoring with a goal plus an assist while Meaghan Pawson finished the scoring with a nice one timer. Other assists went to Olivia Pawson and Brianne Elisabeth. This game featured some great end to end action and lots of shots by both teams. Sarnia goalie Danielle Peters made some outstanding saves to keep the score close during the game.
