On Saturday the
Sarnia Ladies Jr Sting Midget 'C' opened their
season against Zorra Township with a 3 to 1
victory.
Sarnia got the first goal of the game when
Meaghan Pawson knocked in a pass from Mary Beth
Purdy.
With the game tied 1 -1, Megan Ravensberg fired
in what proved to be the game winner on a pass
from Laura Wong. Late in the game Jasmine Davies
chased down a loose puck and finished the play
to provide her team with the insurance marker.
Danielle Peters played a solid game in net back
stopping the team to it's first win of the
season.
The team plays again next Saturday when they
will host St Mary's.
