Ken McLaughlin
Ken McLaughlin has won
the Earl MacKenzie Award, which is for people involved
in sports for at least 30 years.
He coached the Northern Vikings high school junior
football team for 30 years, winning no less than 14
championships, including eight in a row. Five of his
squads went undefeated.
In addition to football, McLaughlin coached track and
field for 32 years and co-coached the school's wrestling
team to several titles.
