2013 Ralph "Pappy" Burr Award
This award is presented to a student (male &/or female) who has achieved their O.S.S.D.
and will be entering a university or college in the fall.
 




Ashley Bisson

Ashley Bisson graduated from St. Clair Secondary School and will be attending Brock University in the September 2013. 

During her years at St. Clair Bisson was involved with Basketball, Volleyball and Track and Field.  Bisson was a member of the Gold Medal SWOSSA Senior Basketball team in 2012 and earned MVP in both Junior and Senior Baskeball.  Bisson also received three Female Athlete of the Year Awards.  Bisson held several volunteer positions at St. Clair and was a member of the Key Club and P.A.I.R.S.
 

Ashley is the daughter of Dave and Cathy Bisson and has one brother Shaun.

 

 

 

 

Mike Rocca
Rocca is a well-rounded athlete competing in Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Cross Country and Track and Field.  His list of achievements throughout his athletic time at St. Christopher’s includes being named Cross Country OFSAA Team All Star, LSSAA soccer champions, with Bronze & Gold medal performances at OFSAA.  Rocca was the Senior Men’s Basketball Team Captain and voted Most Valuable player in 2012.  In basketball he was a member of the team that earned LSSAA Championship, SWOSSA Championships and Silver & Gold medals performances at OFSAA. 

 

Rocca required major hip surgery in 2010 and was told by Doctors that he would take a year to recover.  His determination and hard work had him back on the courts in three months and the following basketball season he was awarded the Mr. Basketball Award that is presented to the Most Valuable player in Lambton County.

 

Beside sports, Rocca has been an active volunteer in the school and community.  He has been involved with several fundraising events, refereed and created a table tennis club in the Sarnia community at the Dante Club.
 

Mike is the son of Emilio and Maria Rocca and has two brothers Chris and Joe.
