Blunt - Fastball
Was born
and raised in Warwick Village where he played his minor ball
and hockey in Watford.
He began to pitch fastball in the Wyoming and Warwick
Fastball League in the 60's.
Highlights
In 1971 won O.A.S.A. Intermediate B Championship with the
Alvinston Indians
Played for the Camlachie Grain and Feed Fastball Team 1972 -
1988.
Earned MVP (1975), Pitcher of the Year 33 wins – 6 losses
(1976), Top pitcher at Zebra Bar Tournament (1978), O.A.S.A.
Intermediate C Championship in Hearst On (1979 & 1981)
Bill also coached the Camlachie Junior Fastball Team.
Bill's other achievements include coaching the Watford Atoms
and Midget Hockey Teams to OMHA Championships in 1968 &
1976.
