On Friday June 18^th Sawmill Creek Golf Resort and Spa held its 5^th annual pro/am. 23 Professionals from Southwestern Ontario and one from PGA of America (Jim Ransberger, Black River)

 

Calvin Kupeyan fired a 3 under par to win the tournament by one stroke over Derek Beaulieu from Links of Kent.  The wind was blowing pretty good and the course played fast and hard.  Calvin a stand out collegiate golfer from UNLV played the course for the first time on Thursday night before the Friday Pro/Am.

 

23 teams competed in a combined best ball for a $4,000 prize table while the professionals competed for a $4,000 cash purse.
