In the last regular season game of the
Sarnia Flag Football Association, the
Bluewater Power Titans trounced the
Razorbacks by a score of 52 to 12.
Titan QB Jason Cain threw 37 passes
including 7 touchdown passes in the
route.
Scoring for the Titans were 4 from
Russell Pettipiece, 2 from Trevor Waller
and a single from Bryan Weaver. Scoring
for the Razorbacks were Andy MacDonald
and Phil Veale. Veale's TD came off of
an errant Titan pitch after an
interception by Titan Scott Watson.
Of
special note, Titan Russell Pettipiece
tied the SFFA record for most rouges in
a single game by kicking 2 through the
end zone. For Pettipiece in his rookie
year, he now holds 5 league records.
Semi-final games set for Sunday November
29 will pit the Bluewater Power Titans
against the Falcons at 11:00 while the
Lambton Metal Service Rampage will take
on the Razorbacks at 1:00. All games in
the SFFA are played at Lansdowne Park in
Sarnia.
The SFFA would also like to remind teams
that there is a meeting at 2 Amigos Bar
and Grill at 6:00 p.m. on November 25.
Each team must have 2 representatives
present.
