The River City Boxing
Club held their Boxing event on Saturday night.
The event hosted by Tim and Marilyn Taylor featured
athletes from Brantford, Durham, Niagara Falls, London
and Sarnia.

The first
two bouts were exhibition matches. The first Dylan
Taylor (red), grandson of Tim and Marilyn went up
against Chasen Michaud (Blue) from the Boones Club from
Niagara Falls. The second was a family rivarly with Josh
Mitchell (red) going up against brother Mitchell (blue)
from the host Club.

Charlton (red) vs Jassem (blue) |
In the third
bout Jesse Sallows (red) from Boones, Niagara Falls took
a unanimous win over Dylan Good (blue) from the Black
Eye Club from Brantford and in the fourth match Sal
Jassem (blue) from Black Eye defeated Todd Charlton from
River City (red) in an unanimous vote.

After the
intermission Marc Pagcaliwangan (red) from the Boomerz
Club out of London fought Jassem Jassem (blue) from
Black Eye. Pagcaliwangan won that bought in a
split decision. In the sixth bout of the evening
William Penkwitz (red) from River City also won his bout
in a split decision over Mitch Schuett (blue) from the
Charbs Club from Durham.
Tomlinson (red) vs Hill (blue)
In the final and main event
of the evening was local favourite Tanner Tomlinson
taking on Shawn Hill from Warriors in London.
Tomlinson took the win in a split decision. more
