Alvinston vs Shedden

Last Friday, the Alvinston
Indians squeezed out a 1-0 victory over Shedden. Brad
Young was the winning pitcher for the Indians, throwing
a complete game shutout, while scattering six hits and
collecting 6 strikeouts.
Bryan Depencier came up big for the Indians, as he
belted a solo home run over the centre field fence for
the games only run. Indians shortstop Steve Donald made
a run saving catch in the fifth inning, as well as one
other tough play, while Eric Hyatt threw out a runner at
home from left field early in the game.
Final score was Alvinston 1, and Shedden 0. The
Alvinston Indians are now 6-6 on the season, and back to
playing .500 ball in league play.
