OFSAA update (Belleville)- St.
Clair Senior Girls AA won their first game Thursday in
Belleville defeating Denis O'Conner (Ajax) 53 - 33.
Friday the Colts defeated North Grenville 48 - 32 to
move to the quarter finals. In quarter final
action the Colts defeated St. Francis (St. Catharines)
54-36. In the Semi-finals on Saturday the Colts
defeated
Patrick Fogarty (Orillia) 49-33 and moved on to the Gold
Medal game where they lost out to
the #1
seeded team Bishop MacDonnell
(Guelph)
with a 54 - 44 final.

Boys Volleyball
OFSAA |
OFSAA update (Sarnia) - St. Clair AA Boys
competed Friday and went 2 - 1.
In game one they defeated
Chippewa SS 2 - 0 (25-22, 25-23), in
their second match of the day they defeated Monsignor J
Pereyma 2 - 0 (25-11, 25-19) and in their final
they lost out to
Samuel-Genest 2 - 0 (25-14, 25-16). Saturday
the Colts lost to
Kincardine 2 - 0 (20-25, 21-25). Moved on to
Consolation quarterfinal against St. Thomas
and won a close match 2 - 1 (25-20, 20-25, 9-15).
In the semi final round they lost to
Cobourg 2 - 1 (25-21, 18-25, 15-10)
Cobourg went on and won the Consolation Title. |

was a loss to Chatham-Kent 2-1.

The Lambton Predators went one and one on
the weekend.
The anticipated clash
between the Leamington Flyers and the Predators last
Saturday ended up being a night of frustration. A
glimmer of hope remains for the team to catch Leamington
and earn a play off spot after defeating St. Thomas on
Sunday.

New York Yankees
Rob Thomson may not be a household name in world of
Sarnia-Lambton sports but he should be. Playing a key
role in one of the world’s premier sports franchises
Thomson reflected on his major league career before a
Yankees-Jays game earlier this season at Rogers Centre.
